Transitus
|
At Cedars, the P7 class are called Transitus, and they are part of both the Junior and Senior School.
Transitus in Cedars is a unique opportunity to be part of life in the senior school, moving round classes taught by subject specialists, following a timetable, meeting new teachers - all whilst still having the security of daily contact with their Junior class teacher. Transitus experience new challenges in senior classes: conducting Science experiments; exploring Art techniques; studying new authors; engaging in Modern Studies debates; competing in the UK - wide Lego Challenge in technology, and much more. Weekly Health and Wellbeing sessions focus on building resilience, improving wellbeing, promoting positive behaviour and teaching strategies for mental health. Transitus are well prepared to enjoy and thrive in the challenges and opportunities of the Senior school. |
