Stepping Stones is an ambitious programme for all S1 to S4, taking place every Wednesday afternoon throughout the school year.
It combines Career Education, Career Management Skills, Religious Education and Health and Wellbeing education, into one core programme which provides incredible opportunities for every young person. Through a variety of experiences within and outwith the school, pupils connect with professionals, advisors, former pupils, and a wide community, developing their understanding of themselves, the world around them, the needs of others, and how they can be outward looking, as they prepare for the future.

- Undertaken survival skills in the Inverclyde countryside at Auchenfoyle
- Heard from businessman Laurence Deary on core skills in enterprise
- Listened to former pupil Rachel tell us about her recent start at the City of Glasgow College
- Taken CAP Money course training with local CAP trainer Carolyn.
- Interviewed former pupil Sophie, in her fourth year of Astrophysics at The University of Edinburgh, asking questions about space, quantum mechanics and what it is like moving away from home!
- Experienced podcast training with Colin Kelly of Comsteria
- Heard from international award winning photographer Paul Thorburn about the challenges and opportunities in creative industries
- Enjoyed a visit from Mary's Meals - the result of which has been that our pupil council has chosen Mary's Meals to be our school charity this year.
