Senior School at Cedars
Our residential trips are a highlight for our Senior School pupils. Past trips for Senior School have included London, Rwanda, Edinburgh, Florence, the Battlefields in Belgium and France, and Paris.
This year, pupils in S3 - S6 are going to London for a week of cultural experiences and a chance to get to know the capital.
The London trip is always popular, and often inspires pupils to take their own trips with peers or with their families. Questions regarding this year's London trip should be directed to Miss Rukin.
We currently have the following clubs for pupils in S1 - S6:
Lighthouse Choir, Tuesdays 3.20 - 4.15pm
Debate Club, Wednesday lunchtimes
Creative Writing Club, Wednesdays 3.20 - 4.30pm
Chess Club, Friday lunchtimes
Our pupils are encouraged to run Clubs to share their interests with others, and so we find that each year, different clubs and activities are on offer, reflecting the interests of the pupil body.
Duke of Edinburgh
All pupils in S3 - S6 are offered the opportunity to enter the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Pupils are supported through each part of this by the school, working closely with parents. Each year we have pupils working for their Bronze and Silver Award, and many pupils go on to achieve their Gold Award in the summer after S5 or S6.
Any questions regarding the Duke of Edinburgh scheme should be addressed to Miss Bell (email@example.com).
